I’ve been crushing pretty hard on bodysuits lately. A tee or top that DOESN’T ride up or come untucked? Yes, please! From dazzling designer to big bargain finds, keep reading to see a roundup of fabulous bodysuits for every price point.
The Splurges
Perhaps the most amazing bodysuit I’ve come across lately is this piece by Versace. It’s the Barocco Acanthus Printed Bodysuit. I mean, how could you NOT fall in love with this bodysuit that just screams “classic Miami Versace”? The cut is simple and sleek- a classic scoop neck and long sleeves but the print just elevates it to another dimension. You could wear it by itself with black jeans or style it with a vest.
It IS a little pricey. Sak’s Fifth Avenue has it online for $725. If you’ve got the cash, this is a worthwhile splurge. (If I had it, I’d buy it!). While Versace has found some new fans and fame lately let’s be honest, Versace doesn’t really go out of style. Ever. Find the bodysuit here HERE.
Another fabulous piece is this pleated shimmer bodysuit by that I spied on Farfetch. There are so many reasons I’ve fallen in love with this bodysuit. The pink color is just too perfect. Even if you’re not a huge fan of pink, its hard not to find this shade appealing. While the color catches your eye, the pleats, texture, and detailing just keeps your gaze and really take the humble bodysuit to another level.
While not quite as expensive as the Versace number, it’s still a little pricey at almost $300. However, if you’re looking for a great piece that’s rather versatile, then this is a must. You could style it with a blazer as pictured below to up your workwear and “boss babe” game. Or maybe wear it with a vintage pair of high waist, cutoff levi’s with some sleek sandals for a chic casual (my preference). Find it for $282 on Farfetch HERE.
The Steals
If paying hundreds for a bodysuit just isn’t your thing, I totally get it. And that’s ok! I’m right there with you. We don’t have to compromise style for price. The next couple of bodysuits are a total bargain but will still have you looking fly.
Wolford is the gold standard for hosiery but did you know that they make the most luxurious bodysuits too? From basics to wear under a blouse for a seamless look to sexy styles to be worn on their own, Wolford is where it’s at. Like some of the splurges, they CAN be pricey. But if you know where to look, you can find them for less.
I found this simple but chic Wolford Honey Breeze bodysuit on eBay for only $89 from seller dancingfaries. Styles like this retail for over $275 at department stores so finding a new (sealed!) one for a fraction of that is a really good deal.
This bodysuit might be a bit boring but I could totally see myself wearing it under a vintage 80s blazer (shoulder pads and all) with a pair of high waisted mom jeans and some espadrilles. Inspired? Shop the bodysuit on eBay HERE.
If you’re not looking for a brand name and are more concerned with aesthetics and getting “the look” then I definitely recommend heading over to Poshmark. It’s a great place to find not only good deals on popular brands but also deals on really cute boutique pieces.
Case in point, I found a really beautiful black bodysuit with ruffles for days that just screams “babe”. It’s not a brand or name I know and honestly, I don’t care. The cut and ruffles speak for themselves and it’s not like anyone is going to be trying to check your label. And if they do ask who makes it? Just shrug and reply “I don’t know. It was awesome and looked go on me so I bought it”. Be a confidence queen on your throne.
On top of the high you’ll get while wearing it, your bank account will love it because it’s listed for only $35. Unlike the model, I’d probably wear pants with it: style it with a chignon, some black jeans and a pair of pointy toe mules for the ultimate “done up, dressed down” look. Shop it HERE.
I hope that you guys enjoyed this bodysuit round up! Keep in mind that this is just a (really) short list of the amazing finds out there: I definitely suggest you start with these as inspiration and then do some hunting of your own to find that perfect piece for you.
